Beirut, in the “troubles”. Been traveling for 2 weeks. Very dull Hotel. Fancied some real French Food and some Chateau Musar 🙂
Not far from the hotel was a small French Restaurant, La Normandie. Off I went, pitch dark – suddenly Machine Guns opened up above my head, a couple of floors up!, Return fire, luckily also above my head !!. Decision time, Back, Dull Hotel, Onwards Good Food and Wine – Decision made. It was an excellent meal. 🙂 🙂
